My interests lie in renewable energy, human impact on the environment, social economics of rural development, and environmental resource economics has led him to complete both a Masters of Science in Biology and a Masters of Science in Agriculture. My doctoral dissertation in Germany is on the effects of charcoal and other organic amendments on soil fertility and quality in the Brazilian Amazon.
My experience in providing support for new emerging bio-refineries (linking hydrogen production with CO2 sequestration and sustainable nitrogen fertilizer production) enabled me to establish international relations and gain further knowledge about carbon management and carbon trading trade.
